drugstore makeup starter kit

Hi everyone

So today I have a collab with my friend at .@floralbrunettexox so make sure you go and check out her take on this post!

Right so whether you have no idea about makeup and need some guidance or whether you just want some ideas of new products to buy, just carry on reading.

So this is just an overall picture that i took of the makeup bag I use but i store most of my makeup in a cupcake stand (dont ask! )
I have split it into sections so face, eyes and lips. Right so in face we have Rimmel fix and perfect pro primer that mattifies your skin while leaving it feeling soft. Next Rimmel blusher in live pink, this has a tiny bit of gold shimmer so you don't need a highlighter with it.Then Rimmel clear complexion powder, this gives a very natural finish and isn't cakey at all and supposedly it clears your skin. For concealer I have a brightening one from maybelline called dream lumi touch highlighting concealer, and the other is collections lasting perfection concealer that it perfect for spots or blemishes because it is very high coverage. For bronzer I only have one which isn't from the drugstore but I know that MUA from superdrug has some for £1 but this isn't orange at all and it can be built up to a higher coverage. Next is Rimmel lasting finish nude in 100 Ivory (I know they have a lighter one for all of those people that are very pale) this is a medium coverage foundation that can be built up to a high coverage if you want that.
First I chose a pallete from MUA because they are only £4 and this one is a dupe for the naked 2 pallete( there is a brand called makeup revolution and they have very good naked pallete dupes) but this has some mattes and shimmers. For eyeliner I have a kohl one from the body shop but MUA have good ones for £1 and I have a liquid one from maybelline called master precise and a 0.4mm tip which makes it so much easier.
Finally I have the maybelline rocket volume mascara which is very good.

I thought these would be perfect if you were just starting out on makeup because the lip butter doesn't give you any colour it's just very moisturising and smells delicious. The baby lips is in cherry me and is only £2.99 it gives a light wash of colour but not too much.

You can change this up to how you want.
Thank youu for reading comment below for more ideas you want me to do.
